Unable to Connect the Garage Door Opener's Integrated Camera to my Home Wi-Fi Network and LED is Flashing Blue and Green

When attempting to connect a myQ Integrated Camera to your home network, the LED indicator will go through a sequence of flashes before the LED light turns solid green to confirm connection. Each step of the sequence indicates what the camera is attempting to do and how you approach troubleshooting depends on the LEDs’ behavior and color.

A flashing blue and green LED indicates that your myQ Integrated Camera was unable to connect to your home’s Wi-Fi network

  • Verify the generation of myQ Integrated Camera that you are setting up or troubleshooting.
    • Generation 1 – this camera can swivel (360 degrees) and has a reset button built into the side of the camera. See image below.

Important Note: The steps below are only for generation 1 myQ Integrated Cameras. Ensure you have reviewed the Before you begin section to confirm the generation of the camera.

Note: If your camera has a reset button and the reset is unsuccessful multiple times when prompted, see Unable to Connect the Wi-Fi Garage Door Opener to Wi-Fi Network and LED Lights Blinks Blue and Green.

  1. Verify if there have been any changes to the network settings, password, or provider.
  2. Confirm you have a strong Wi-Fi signal.
  3. Power cycle the myQ Integrated Camera by pushing the camera closed and reopening it after 10 seconds.
    • Wait 40 seconds for the LED status to complete updating.
    • If your camera continues to have a Flashing Blue and Green LED, continue to step 4.
    • If your camera has a solid green LED, your camera is back online.
  4. Disconnect then reconnect the power to your router.
    • Once the internet is reconnected, power cycle your myQ Integrated Camera once more by closing it and reopening it after 10 seconds.
    • Wait a few minutes for the myQ Integrated Camera LED status to update. The status should go to solid green to confirm the device is back online.
    • If the LED status does not go to solid green, contact your internet service provider to verify our Recommended Router Settings for myQ Cameras. Once the settings are confirmed, see How to Set Up the Integrated Camera in the myQ App.

Note: If you were unable to connect to your Wi-Fi network, please double check the color of the LED light found on the Integrated Camera. Reference Integrated Camera Does Not Connect to Home Wi-Fi Network for additional troubleshooting steps to connect your Integrated Camera to your Wi-Fi network.
