Unable to Connect myQ Video Keypad to the Home Wi-Fi Network and LED is Flashing Blue

When attempting to connect a myQ Video Keypad to your home network, the LED indicator will go through a sequence of flashes before the LED turns solid green to confirm the connection. Each step of the sequence indicates what the camera is attempting to do and how you approach troubleshooting depends on the LED light's behavior and color.

A flashing blue LED indicates that the myQ Video Keypad is ready to be setup or was unable to connect to your home Wi-Fi network.

  1. Attempt to set up the myQ Video Keypad in the myQ app.
    • Follow the steps in the app, if the myQ Video Keypad fails to connect, continue to step 2.
  2. Complete a factory reset on the myQ Video Keypad.
  3. Follow the in-app setup process to connect your myQ Video Keypad.
    • Ensure your mobile device is close to your myQ Video Keypad then see How to Set Up a myQ Video Keypad in the myQ App.
    • If you continue to get a flashing blue LED, verify that you are entering the correct Wi-Fi password and not auto-populating or pasting it as this could add an extra character to make it incorrect.
    • If you are unsure about your network password, and it has never been changed, it may be on the sticker on the bottom of your router. If it has changed, contact your internet service provider.
    • If you are using the correct Wi-Fi password and continue to get a flashing blue LED contact your internet service provider to verify our Recommended Router Settings for myQ Cameras. Once the settings are confirmed, complete the in-app setup for the myQ Video Keypad.

Note: During the setup process, monitor the status of the LED on your myQ Video Keypad for any changes. If you are still unable to connect, use the last LED status observed during the in-app setup to troubleshoot further, see myQ myQ Smart Garage Video Keypad Overview
