Single Sign-On (SSO) is a login method that lets you use one account to sign into multiple apps or services, including the myQ app. Instead of creating a separate username and password for myQ, you just tap Sign in with Google, Sign in with Apple, or Login with Amazon, and it logs you in using that account's credentials.
🔒 Password resets must be handled through your SSO provider (Google, Apple, or Amazon).
If you currently have a myQ account and want to use the Single Sign On (SSO) feature, follow the steps below:
Important: Your myQ account email must match the email on your SSO account.
See: How to Change the Email Address for a myQ Account for help.
Make sure you have the latest version of the myQ app.
Open the app and tap Log In.
Select the SSO option that matches your email:
• Google
• Apple
• Amazon
Log in using your SSO credentials.
Your account will link automatically. You’ll see your devices in the app.
When linking Apple, make sure to choose “Share my Email”. If you choose “Hide my Email,” a new account will be created under a relay email and your devices won’t appear.
If your devices are not showing in the app after linking, see Resolve Devices Not Displaying After Linking myQ Account to a Single Sign-On (SSO)
