Reasons You Might Remove SSO

You may need to remove SSO for one of these reasons:

• Accidental Sign-In: You signed in with the wrong provider and linked to an unintended email.
• Apple Hidden Email: You chose Hide My Email during Apple sign-up and now need to recreate or link your account.
• Switching Login Methods: You started with SSO but prefer to use a regular myQ login now.
• Blank Account Issue: You created a placeholder account when SSO was first introduced and want to replace it with a linked account.

Note: 

Remove myQ from Apple (Sign in with Apple)

On an iPhone or iPad 

1. Tap on your name at the top of the screen to go to your Apple ID settings.
2. Tap Sign in with Apple.
3. From the list, find myQ .
4. Tap Delete or Stop Using Sign in with Apple (option varies depending on iOS version).
5. Follow any on-screen prompts to confirm that you want to stop using Apple ID.

On a Desktop

1. Sign in at appleid.apple.com.
2. In the Sign-In & Security section, select Sign in with Apple and then Manage Apps & Websites.
3. Find myQ Identity.
4. Choose Stop Using Apple ID.

Tip: If you chose “Hide My Email,” confirm which email your myQ account is linked to before stopping Apple ID sign-in.

Remove myQ from Google (Sign in with Google)

On an Android Phone or Tablet

1. Open the settings app and then Google
2. Tap on your name or email address. 
3. Tap on Manage your Google Account
4. At the top, tap Security & sign-in
5. Scroll down to Your connections to third-party apps & services & tap See all connections
6. Tap the app or service you want to remove and then Remove Access

On a Desktop

1. Go to Google and sign in.
2. Click on the circle icon at the top right that has your profile picture, name, or email address. 
3. Click on Manage your Google Account
4. Click on Security & sign-in
5. Scroll down to find Your connections to third-party apps & services
6. Click on myQ and then Delete all connections

Remove myQ from Amazon (Login with Amazon)

On a Desktop or Phone App

1. Log into Amazon and click on Account & Lists to access Your Account.
2. Under Manage Your Data, click on Manage apps & services with data access.
3. Select myQ Identity from the list.
4. Tap on Remove.

After Removing SSO: Accessing Your myQ Account

When you remove myQ from your SSO provider (Apple, Google, or Amazon), your myQ account remains active. All devices, settings, and history linked to your account will stay intact.

After unlinking SSO:

• You cannot log in using the SSO provider anymore.
• Your myQ account and devices remain active
• To continue accessing your account, you must use an email and password login.
• If you do not already have a myQ password, you will need to reset your password using the email associated with your myQ account (the same one used for the SSO login).
• Once a password is set, you can sign in to your myQ account on any device.
