How to Set up a myQ Video Storage Subscription
A myQ Video Storage Subscription lets you save and review video clips from your myQ camera. With a subscription, you can access recorded footage, enable smart detection, get notifications, and customize camera settings.
Step 1: Add Your Camera to the myQ App
Before setting up your myQ Video Storage Subscription, make sure your camera is added to your myQ account.
Select your device type and follow the setup guide:

Step 2: Subscribe to myQ Video Storage
Once your camera is added, follow these steps:
Option 1:
Use this method to subscribe through the Video Monitoring menu.
- Open the myQ app.
- Access Account Menu on the bottom right of the screen.
- Select myQ Video Monitoring.
- Tap on:
- Manage Subscription to be taken to the subscription page or
- Learn More to be forwarded to the myQ Marketplace website to view, select and activate your subscription.
- If you are not automatically forwarded, please go to myQ Marketplace and follow the prompts.
- Pick a plan:
- For the most up-to-date plan options and pricing, view video subscription plans and pricing
- Enter your billing information.
- Tap Check Out to finish.
✅ Success: Your subscription is active and video features are enabled.
Option 2:
Use this method to subscribe directly from the History tab.
- Open the myQ app.
- Tap History.
- Tap Subscribe to myQ Video Storage.
- Select a subscription plan.
- Enter your billing information.
- Tap Check Out.
✅ Success: Video recordings will begin once your subscription is active
Important Notes About Video History
- Only events recorded after your subscription starts can be viewed.
- Events shown before subscribing are not recorded and cannot be recovered.
💡 Tip: The History tab may show missed events to highlight recordings you would have received with a subscription.
