Unable to Connect the myQ Smart Garage Camera to My Home Wi-Fi Network and LED Is Flashing Green

When attempting to connect a myQ Smart Garage Camera to your home network, the LED indicator will go through a sequence of flashes before the LED turns solid green to confirm the connection. Each step of the sequence indicates what the camera is attempting to do and how you approach troubleshooting depends on the LED light's behavior and color.

 

A flashing green LED indicates that your myQ Smart Garage Camera was unable to connect to the myQ server.

Before you begin: 

  • Check if the app is showing any Error Codes.
  • A ladder may be required to complete the setup.
  • Ensure you have your home Wi-Fi network password.  

myQ Smart Garage Camera Has Flashing Green LED

  1. Power cycle the myQ Smart Garage Camera by disconnecting then reconnecting the power cord to the camera and to the outlet.
    • Wait 40 seconds for the LED status to complete updating. 
    • If your camera continues to have a flashing green LED, continue to step 2.
    • If your camera has a solid green LED, your camera is back online. 
  2. Disconnect then reconnect the power to your router.
    • Power cycle the myQ Smart Garage Camera by disconnecting then reconnecting the power cord to the camera and to the outlet.
    • Wait a few minutes for the myQ Smart Garage Camera LED status to update. The status should go to solid green to confirm the device is back online.

Note: During the setup process, monitor the status of the LED on your myQ Smart Garage Camera for any changes.
