myQ Subscription | Manage or Cancel

This article explains how to manage or cancel any of your myQ subscriptions, including automotive partner subscriptions and myQ Video Monitoring. All subscriptions are managed through myQ Marketplace, which can be accessed directly or via the myQ app.


Managing Your Subscription in myQ Marketplace

Most myQ subscriptions are managed through the myQ Marketplace.

Steps to view or change your subscription:

  1. Go to myQ Marketplace.
  2. Log in with your myQ credentials.
  3. Select My Plans in the upper right corner.
  4. Locate the subscription you want to manage. From here, you can:
    • See which devices are covered
    • View your renewal date
    • Compare available plans
    • Change your plan
    • Update payment method
    • Cancel your subscription renewal

Important:
Canceling does not issue a refund. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing cycle.


Manage myQ Video Monitoring in the myQ App

You can access video subscription settings from the myQ app.

  1. Open the myQ app.
  2. Select Menu in the bottom right corner.
  3. Select myQ Video Monitoring.
  4. Select Manage your subscription(s).
  5. Select Manage Subscription to open the myQ Marketplace website.
  6. Enter your myQ login credentials if prompted.
  7. From the My Plans page, update your payment method, change plans, or cancel renewal.

Cancel a Subscription

You can cancel most subscriptions through myQ Marketplace using the steps above.
 
Supported Automotive cancellations in myQ Marketplace
Only Tesla and Hyundai subscriptions are managed and canceled through myQ Marketplace.

All other auto partners

Subscriptions from the following partners must be canceled directly through the partner’s website:
  • Kia
  • Acura
  • Honda
  • Mercedes‑Benz
  • Mitsubishi
  • Rivian
  • INFINITI
  • Steer Tech
  • Nissan
  • Volkswagen (VW)
  • Any other non‑Tesla or non‑Hyundai automotive partner
What happens when you cancel video storage?

When your video subscription ends, you lose access to the following features:

  • Smart Detection: Alerts for faces, people, animals, and vehicles
  • Smart Insights: Consolidated and descriptive notifications
  • Smart Secure: Automatic locking of myQ-connected entryways during unexpected activity
  • Record, Save, and Share: Video recording, downloading, and sharing
  • Preview Notifications: Thumbnail previews and expanded event views

You will continue to have access until your billing cycle ends.

How to Cancel Renewal:

  1. In myQ Marketplace, open the My Plans page.
  2. Find the subscription you want to cancel.
  3. Select Cancel Renewal.

  4. Review the cancellation details.
  5. Confirm by selecting Cancel Renewal again.

After canceling:

  • Your features remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
  • No refund is issued for unused time.

Partner Services Managed Outside myQ

Some services connected to myQ are managed by partner companies rather than through myQ Marketplace.

These services may include delivery services or vehicle integrations. If the service does not appear on the My Plans page, it must be managed directly through the partner.

Automotive features connect your vehicle’s connected services platform to your myQ account. Depending on the manufacturer, the feature may be:

  • A subscription managed by the vehicle manufacturer
  • A vehicle integration included with connected services
