How to Create a Notification for a myQ Account
You can set up notifications in the myQ app to know when there is activity on a connected myQ device. Notifications can be sent to your phone or email.
How to Create a Notification for a myQ Account
- Open the myQ app.
- Access settings:
- If your app has a Gear Icon in the top right corner, tap the Gear Icon.
- If your app shows your Initials in the top left corner, tap your Initials.
- Tap Notifications or Notification and Alerts. Existing alerts for this device will be displayed.
- Select the device you want to set a notification for.
- Tap on the plus (+) sign or Add notification.
- Name the notification.
- Choose the activity you'd like to be notified for (garage door open, light on, locked, motion)
- Choose when you would like to be notified.
- Immediately: Get notified as soon as the activity occurs.
- Remind Me: You can set a delay for notification. For example: Receive a n
