Disable Push Notifications to a Specific Mobile Device

If you're getting too many myQ push or email notifications on one device, you can manage or stop them through the app or your phone settings. This guide shows you how to do both.

Adjust Notification Settings in the myQ App

Use this method if you only want to change notifications for one specific myQ device or alert.

  1. Login to the myQ app.
  2. Tap the Gear Icon in the top right corner.
  3. Tap on Notifications.
  4. Select the device you would like to change.
  5. Tap the notification name to edit. From here, you can:
    • Change the notification name or alert conditions
    • Turn Push Notification or Email sliders on or off.
      • At least one notification type must be turned on unless the notification is deleted
    • Or tap Delete to stop all notifications for that alert
  6. Tap Save.

Note: If you’ve shared your myQ account with another user, they must manage their own notification settings through their myQ app.

Stop Notifications Immediately

Use this method if you want to temporarily stop all notifications.

  • Log out of the myQ app.

    • Note: Simply closing the app does not log you out.

  • Alternatively, turn off app notifications using your phone settings (instructions below).

Turn Off Notifications in Phone Settings

Use this method if you want to block all myQ alerts on your device.

iPhone or Android

  1. Open your Phone Settings.

  2. Go to Notifications.

  3. Find and tap myQ.

  4. Turn off Allow Notifications to disable all alerts.

    • You can also turn off email and push alerts across all devices linked to your account.
