myQ Detection Zones is a feature that allows you to create a “Zone” within your myQ Camera viewing window. You can choose to only receive notifications for motion that occurs within the Zone you have created.

To use this feature, you must have myQ app version 5.252 or higher.

Do I need to have a myQ Video Subscription to use Detection zones?

In order to use the myQ Detection Zone feature you must either be in a 30-day free trial, or subscribed to a myQ Video Subscription.

Who can use the myQ Detection Zone Feature?

The myQ Detection Zone feature can only be used by a myQ account owner. Co-Owner or Friends & Family members cannot use this feature with shared devices.

Which myQ Cameras are compatible with Detection zones?

All myQ Cameras are compatible:

How many zones can you create for your Camera?

You can create up to 3 Detection Zones per myQ Camera.
