Easily schedule automatic firmware updates for all your myQ Community devices or set a custom schedule for each device. Keep your system running smoothly with automatic updates.

Schedule Automatic Over the Air Firmware Updates for All Devices

Follow these steps to set up automatic firmware updates for your entire community: 

1. From the Home page, click your Name in the top-left corner.
2. Select Community Settings.
3. Click Automatic Firmware Upgrade Windows.

4. The Automatic Firmware Upgrade Windows page allows you to set when the devices in your facility will download the automatic updates. 
   • Individual device upgrade windows may appear on the right side of the page.
   • You may keep these schedules as they are or combine them with the community‑level upgrade window by selecting Combine with community window.

5. Click the Pencil icon to edit the schedule.
6. Choose the Day of the Week you want updates to download.
7. Select the two-hour time block of time that the update will run on that day.
8. Click Save.

Set a Custom Firmware Update Schedule for a Specific Device

If you want a different update time for individual CAP devices, follow these steps:

1. Click Devices from the Home page.
2. Select the CAP Device you want to update by Clicking on {Device Name}.
3. Click Advanced Settings.
4. Choose Set Custom Device Upgrade Window.

5. Choose the Day of the Week you want updates to download.
6. Select the two-hour time block of time that the update will run on that day.
7. Click Save.
8. Repeat for each device you want to customize.
