How to Turn Off the Sound On myQ Notifications

The myQ Bounce sound is a unique tone that plays when your garage door opens or closes, helping you stay informed without opening the app.

Turn Off the myQ Bounce Notification Sound

1. Open the myQ App.
2. Tap on the Menu icon on the home screen. 
3. Tap Manage Account
4. Tap Notification Settings
   • On Android devices, you will be taken directly to your phone’s notification settings where you can turn off the sound. 
   • On Apple devices, it will show you two steps. Select the button on step 1, then follow step 2

• All garage open/close alerts now include the myQ Bounce tone
• You cannot revert to the previous sound
