Unable to connect the Garage Door Opener's Integrated Camera to my home Wi-Fi network and LED is Flashing Red

When attempting to connect a myQ Wi-Fi Garage Door Opener to your home network, the LED indicator in between the arrows will go through a sequence of blinks before the LED turns solid green to confirm the connection. Each step of the sequence shows what the Garage Door Opener is attempting to do, and how you approach troubleshooting depends on the LED behavior and color.

A Flashing Red LED Indicates that the camera has gone into Overheat Protection Mode.

Integrated Camera Has a Flashing Red LED

  • Wait for your myQ Integrated Camera to cool down. Once the camera has cooled down and is no longer in Overheat Protection Mode, the camera's LED light will change back to its original state.
  • If the LED stops flashing red and the camera does not come back online, verify the LED status and see Integrated Camera Does Not Connect to Home Wi-Fi Network.
  • If your camera does not work in the myQ app after the LED light has stopped blinking red, see Integrated Camera Does Not Connect to Home Wi-Fi Network for additional troubleshooting steps to connect your Integrated Camera to your Wi-Fi network.
