My Doorbell Button Blinks And The Remote Controls Do Not Work

When the remote controls stop working and the doorbell blinks this indicates the remote controls are locked out.
If your doorbell is blinking and remote controls have stopped working, these steps will help to unlock the remote controls or determine if there is another issue. You will need to locate the LEARN button on the garage door opener. See How To Find The LEARN Button.

Deactivate the LOCK Feature Indicated by a Blinking Doorbell

  1. Press the LEARN button for two seconds and release. The doorbell should stop blinking.

  2. Unplug the opener to reset.

  3. Plug the opener back in to the outlet.

  4. If the indicator light on doorbell button is steady, then press the remote control. The opener will activate.

  5. If doorbell button is still blinking, replace the door control.

If you’re still having issues with the doorbell blinking, consider contacting a trained door technician.
