Complete these steps within 90 seconds for best results.
Hold your remote 1-3 inches next to the HomeLink button.
Press and hold the desired HomeLink button until the indicator light flashes slowly.
While continuing to hold the HomeLink button, press and hold the garage door remote button.
Continue holding both buttons until the HomeLink indicator light changes from a slow flash to a rapid flash.
When rapid flashing begins, release both HomeLink and the garage door remote buttons.
Press and hold the programmed HomeLink button for 2 seconds to complete programming.
If the HomeLink button you want to use is already programmed or the pairing process does not complete, you may need to reprogram or clear the button before trying again.
Use this if the button you want to program is already programmed to another device.
Reprogram the button: Press and hold the HomeLink button for about 20 seconds.
Use this option if you need to remove all existing HomeLink programming from your vehicle.
Press and hold the first and third HomeLink buttons firmly at the same time.
Some vehicles use the infotainment screen to complete pairing.
