How to Factory Reset a SecureView Video Camera
Locate the model number of your garage door opener. You can find it on the operator, under the panel that is on the opposite side of where the yellow antenna is hanging. Get help locating your model number.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Before continuing, please be aware that performing a factory reset on your device will remove your camera and garage door opener from your myQ account once the device is powered up and reconnects to Wi-Fi.
When the Factory Reset is performed, ALL remote controls and keyless entry codes that are currently programmed are erased from the garage door opener. The remotes and keyless entry will need to be reprogrammed.
This can be useful when trying to move the device to a new account without having access to the myQ account that the device is currently associated with.
Steps to Factory Reset a SecureView Integrated Camera
To perform a Factory Reset, locate the yellow LEARN button on your SecureView garage door opener. The LEARN button is located on the back or side of the operator. A yellow wire (antenna) is hanging from the same side as the LEARN button.
Once the learn button is located, perform the following steps:
- Press and hold the LEARN button on the garage door opener until the LEARN LED light turns off (approximately 6 to 8 seconds)
- Immediately press and hold the LEARN button a second time until the LEARN LED light turns off
- Immediately press and hold the LEARN button a third time until the LEARN LED light turns off. You should hear 3 quick beeps once the process is complete.
