How to Create, Manage and Delete myQ Detection Zones

How to Create a myQ Detection Zone

1. On the Home Screen, tap the Gear Icon to access Camera Settings. 

2. Tap on Motion Detection. 
3. Tap on Detection Zones. 
4. Review Detection Zone features and benefits and tap Make a Zone. 
5. Set the zone by dragging the highlighted points to achieve the Zone of your choice.

6. After achieving the zone of your choice, tap the Arrow to continue.

7. Tap the dialogue box and type in the name of your zone. 
8. After entering a name, tap Save Zone. 

How to Manage Detection Zones

Note: To manage or edit Detection Zones, you must have a Detection Zone already created. 

1. Tap on the Gear Icon for the camera with the existing zone to edit. 
2. Tap on Motion Detection. 
3. Tap on Detection Zones. 
4. Tap Edit on the Zone you would like to edit. 

5. Set the zone by dragging the highlighted points to achieve the Zone of your choice.

6. After achieving the zone of your choice, tap the Arrow to continue. 

7. Tap the dialogue box and type in the name of your zone. 
8. After entering a name, tap Save Zone. 

How to Delete a myQ Detection Zone

1. On the Home Screen, tap the Gear Icon to access Camera Settings. 
2. Tap on Motion Detection. 
3. Tap on Detection Zones.
4. Tap the Trash Can to delete the Detection Zone of your choice.
