Maximum Number of Garage Door Openers the Keyless Entry Can Connect To
Depending on the keyless entry model, you may be able to program it to more than one garage door opener. The number of openers supported is based on how many unique PINs the keypad can store. Each PIN sends a unique radio signal to a specific opener.
To program multiple garage door openers, the following requirements apply:
- Each garage door must have a separate PIN.
- All doors must be within the operating range of the keypad’s mounting location.
- A temporary PIN cannot be the same as a permanent PIN.
- Trying to program more doors than the keypad supports will replace one of the previously stored doors/PINs.
