Introduction:
Follow these steps to connect your Yale | LiftMaster Smart Lock to a Chamberlain or LiftMaster Smart Garage Control after the lock has already been added to your myQ account.

Before You Begin

Make sure your smart lock is already added to the myQ app. You’ll need:

• A Chamberlain or LiftMaster Smart Garage Control

• The myQ app

• A strong Wi-Fi connection

• Bluetooth enabled on your mobile device

Set Up the Smart Garage Control and Pair the Lock

1. Tap Yes, let's get it online.
2. Tap Setup New Hub.
3. On the “What you need” screen, review the checklist and tap I’m Ready.
4. Plug in the hub and tap Next.
5. On the Discovered screen, tap the myQ-XXX.
6.  Accept the Bluetooth pairing request:
   • iOS: Tap Pair to accept.
   • Android: Tap Connect.
7. Select your home Wi-Fi network from the list.
8. Enter your network password and tap Next.
9. Tap Next on the Connected screen.
   • The lock will now pair to your Smart Garage Control.
10. Tap Next on the Paired screen.
11. Review the installation location for your Smart Garage Control and tap Done.

Troubleshooting: If Your Lock Didn’t Pair

Check the following:

• Device Management:
  1. Open the myQ app.
  2. Access Account Menu:
     • If your app shows Menu in the bottom right corner, tap Menu.
     • If your app shows your Initials in the top left corner, tap your Initials. 
  3. Tap Device Management. The lock should show under Locks.

• Firmware Version:
  • Ensure the lock has the latest firmware update. See How to Check the Current Firmware Version on My Yale | LiftMaster Smart Lock for assistance.

Add the Lock from Device Management 

1. Open the myQ app.
2. Access Account Menu:
   • If your app shows Menu in the bottom right corner, tap Menu.
   • If your app shows your Initials in the top left corner, tap your Initials.
