Ceiling Mounted Wi-Fi Garage Door Opener

This guide will help you connect your myQ Wi-Fi Garage Door Opener to your home Wi-Fi network.

Before You Begin

You will need:

• A smartphone with the myQ app

• A router that meets the Recommended Router Settings for myQ Wi-Fi Products

• A 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network
• A strong Wi-Fi signal in your garage. See How to test the Wi-Fi signal strength in my garage
• Your Wi-Fi network name and password
• A ladder to mount the hub
• A compatible garage door opener

Checking Opener Compatibility

• Openers with a myQ-only logo (without a separate Wi-Fi logo) are not Wi-Fi capable.

• Openers with a Powered by myQ logo or a separate Wi-Fi logo are Wi-Fi capable.

Connecting Your myQ Wi-Fi Garage Door Opener

1. Open the myQ app and log in or create an account.

2. Access Device Settings:

   • If your app has a Gear Icon in the top right corner, tap the Gear Icon.
   • If your app shows your Initials in the top left corner, tap your Initials. 
3. Tap on Devices and Add a new device.
4. Tap Garage Door
