Unable to Connect the Wi-Fi Garage Door Opener to Wi-Fi Network and LED Light is Solid Green

If the LED is solid green but your opener isn't showing up in the app, it means it's connected to your router but not added to your account. Follow these steps to fix the issue.

Check Your myQ Account

Manually Add the Opener's Serial Number to Your myQ Account

  1. Open the myQ app.
  2. Follow the stpes based on your app version:
    • If your app has a Gear Icon in the top right corner, tap the Gear Icon, Tap on Devices, Tap Add a new device
    • Or If your app has a Plus Sign on the bottom right corner of the home screen, Tap the + sign. Then tap Device
  3. Tap Accessory.
  4. Select Internet Gateway.
  5. In the “What You Need” menu, check all boxes, then tap I’m Ready.
    • If the app prompts you to access your camera, tap OK and enable the camera for the myQ app when redirected to your mobile device settings.
  6. Enter your Serial Number or if prompted, allow camera access to scan the myQ serial number and tap Done.
    • The serial number is located on the garage door opener beside the up and down arrows and learn button. For ceiling installed units, this is the same side as the hanging wire.
  7. Name your device and confirm it is added to your account. 

If the LED is still solid green and your device does not appear on the home screen, continue to troubleshoot below.

Factory Reset the Garage Door Opener

Reconnect Your myQ Garage Door Opener to Wi-Fi

 

Watch for LED color changes: During the setup process, monitor the colors of the LED on your myQ Garage Door Opener for any changes.
