Livestream in the myQ App | View Your Camera Live
Livestream lets you view real-time video from your myQ camera in the myQ app. You can watch live activity, adjust viewing options, and access supported device controls from the same screen.
Note: Invited myQ Family & Friend users will not have access to the camera to view the live stream.
How to Access and Use Live Stream in the myQ app
- Open the myQ app.
- From the Home screen, tap your camera tile.
- The live video feed opens automatically.
- Tap the camera stream again for the Full Screen Icon

Livestream Features
Livestream includes viewing controls and device access to help you monitor activity in real time.
- Fast live view loading so you can see what your camera sees quickly
- Dark display to reduce eye strain while viewing
- Simple on-screen controls for volume, microphone, and session options
- Automatic portrait and landscape viewing when you rotate your phone
- Camera history preview below the live video showing recent events
- Camera switching using the drop-down menu at the top of the screen
Using the Microphone
The microphone button shows how speaking works for your camera.
- Unmute means you can speak without holding the button.
- Hold to Talk means you must press and hold the button while speaking.
The button label indicates which option applies.
Additional Support
If Livestream does not work as expected:
- Make sure the myQ app is up to date.
- Confirm the camera is connected to Wi‑Fi.
- Close and reopen the app.
