Enable Event Recording in the myQ App
Your myQ Smart Garage Camera or garage door opener's integrated camera will only record Motion Events when Event Recording is enabled in the Camera Settings of the myQ app. A myQ Video Storage subscription is required to enable this feature.
Enable Event Recording
Note: A myQ Video Storage subscription is required to enable this feature. To set up a subscription see: How to Set up Your myQ Video Storage Subscription.
- Tap on the Camera live view.
- Tap the Gear icon to access the camera settings.
- Tap Event Recording
- Tap the toggle switch to select All Events.
Note: After enabling Event Recording, you can adjust the Motion Detection sensitivity by dragging the bar to the desired level.
To Disable Event Recording
- Tap on the Camera live view.
- Tap the Settings button
- Tap Event Recording.
- Tap the toggle switch to select Don’t Record Anything.
