How to Install and Calibrate the myQ Network Module in My Yale | LiftMaster Smart Lock
In order for your smart lock to communicate with the myQ app, you must correctly install, calibrate and enable your myQ Network Module. A myQ Network Module will need to be installed on each Yale | LiftMaster Smart Lock in your household that you would like to control using the myQ app.
Install the myQ Network Module
If you've already installed the myQ Network Module, go straight to calibrate.
- Remove your lock's battery cover
- Remove all four (4) batteries as shown below
- Install the myQ Network Module into the slot above the battery compartment. Be sure it is seated correctly and securely pushed in.
- After installing the myQ Network Module, reinstall the batteries
- Reinstall the battery cover
Next, you need to calibrate the myQ Network Module. This will allow the myQ App to find your Yale | LiftMaster Smart Lock.
Calibrate Your myQ Network Module
The myQ Network Module calibration process depends on the type of Yale | LiftMaster Smart Lock you have.
Below are instructions for calibrating myQ Network Modules to the Smart Touchscreen Deadbolt and Smart Keypad Lever.
Yale | LiftMaster Smart Touchscreen Deadbolt myQ Network Module Calibration
- Touch the lock's screen with your palm or the back of your hand to activate
- Enter the Master Entry Code followed by the gear icon
- Press the 7 key followed by the gear icon
to enter the Network Module Setting mode
- Press the red back arrow icon
twice to exit
Congratulations! You've successfully added a myQ Network Module to your Yale | LiftMaster Smart Touchscreen Deadbolt.
Yale | LiftMaster Smart Keypad Lever myQ Network Module Calibration
- Press any key to wake the lock
- Using the keypad, enter the Master Entry Code followed by the gear button
- Press the 7 key followed by the gear button
to enter the Network Module Setting mode
- Press the gear button
