How do I link my compatible INFINITI to myQ Connected Garage? 

Getting Started

1. Make sure you have a myQ-enabled Garage Door Opener or a Smart Garage Control device.
2. If you are new to myQ, download the myQ app onto your mobile device, create an account, and sign in.
3. Connect your myQ connected garage door devices using the myQ app. Follow the onscreen setup tutorial and ensure they are controllable via the myQ app before linking.
4. Be sure your vehicle is parked safely inside or outside of your garage before beginning.
5. Ensure there are no obstructions near your garage door. 
   
   

Linking Instructions 

1. Power on your vehicle and remain in the parked position. 
2. Open the Apps list and select myQ Garage. 
3. Scan the QR Code using your mobile device to go to the myQ | INFINITI welcome page.
4. On your mobile device, tap Sign In if you already have a myQ account or if you are a new myQ User, tap Learn More to sign up. 
5. Review Authorization Consent and tap Authorize. 
6. Review the Disclaimer on the vehicle touchscreen and tap OK.
7. Your vehicle is now linked to your myQ Garage Door Device(s).
   
   

How do I unlink my INFINITI from myQ  Connected Garage? 

1. Power on your vehicle and remain in the parked position. 
2. Navigate to the Apps list and select myQ Garage. 
3. Tap Logout.
   
   

What service plan options are available for INFINITI + myQ Connected Garage? 

The service is free for 5 years in vehicles with a select package.

How can I add a myQ Connected Garage to an additional INFINITI vehicle?

Ensure your INFINITI is compatible and follow the account linking process again. 

Can a myQ Co-Owner or a myQ Guest link myQ Connected Garage with INFINITI?

Yes, Co-Owners can link their myQ Connected Garage account to a myQ compatible INFINITI vehicle. myQ Connected Garage does not support Guest, or Household users at this time. 

What myQ devices can I control/monitor in my INFINITI vehicle? 

You can control/monitor garage door openers through the In-Vehicle-Infotainment touch screen. Voice control. gate, lock, or light controls are not available.

How do I set up Geofencing on my vehicle?

1. Power on your vehicle and remain in the parked position. 
2. Position your vehicle in your driveway, outside of the garage door.
3. Navigate to the Apps list and select myQ Garage.
4. Tap on the garage door edit (pencil) icon and ensure your GDO is set as default.
5. Enable Geofencing Mode then tap on Add to set garage location.
6. Tap Set when you see your location on the displayed map.
7. Set Geofencing Range (ft) to your preferred performance.

Note: Performance may vary depending on your geographic location and GPS signal and availability. 

How do I set up close door reminder on my vehicle? 

1. Navigate to the apps list and select myQ Garage. 
2. If you have multiple garage doors set up, choose the garage door you want to set up for the reminder. 
3. Tap the edit (pencil) icon in the upper right corner of your selected garage door and set your garage door opener as default. 
4. Enable Close Door Reminder and set your desired reminder time in the Remind Me In (min) field.

My device code does not work during account linking

The device code expires after 5 minutes after it appears on the account linking screen. Go back to the In-Vehicle-Infotainment apps menu and re-select the myQ Garage App to reset the device code.

Notes: 

• • If Garage Door Openers do not appear in the myQ app, hit the ‘refresh’ button.
  • There can only be one (1) default Garage Door Opener and it will always appear first in the list with a star icon in the upper left corner.
  • There can only be one (1) Garage Door Opener widget and it will always be the ‘default’ Garage Door Opener.
