Before installation, make sure you have adequate room to mount your LiftMaster garage door opener. Using the charts below, find the total length of the type of garage door opener you are installing. Then, measure outward from the header wall towards the back of the garage using the measurement obtained from the chart. The space should be free of support beams, poles, or other obstructions.
