On a Security+ 2.0® opener, when the learn button is pressed once, the LED will stay lit for 3 minutes. This first 30 seconds is to program the handheld remote controls, keyless entry and the HomeLink system. The other 2 minutes and 30 seconds is for programming MyQ® devices.
