Smart Secure Schedules and Device Toggling

myQ Smart Secure helps keep your home safe by automatically locking doors or closing the garage when your myQ Outdoor Camera detects a person. You can set up times for these devices to be active or deactivate the feature when needed. Follow these steps to adjust your Smart Secure settings. 

Smart Secure is only available if you have a myQ Video Subscription and a myQ Smart Outdoor Camera.

 


How to Edit a Smart Secure Schedule

  1. Open the myQ app.
  2. Access Account Menu:
    • If your app shows Menu in the bottom right corner, tap Menu.
    • If your app shows your Initials in the top left corner, tap your Initials
  3. Tap on myQ Video Monitoring.
  4. Tap Smart Secure.
  5. Tap on Manage in the Smart Secure section.
  6. Tap on Add a New Schedule.

  1. Select the days of the week that you want the schedule to be active. 

  1. Select the times that the schedule should be active.

  1. Tap on Save Schedule

 


 

How to Delete a Smart Secure Schedule 

  1. Open the myQ app.
  2. Access Account Menu:
    • If your app shows Menu in the bottom right corner, tap Menu.
    • If your app shows your Initials in the top left corner, tap your Initials
  3. Tap on myQ Video Monitoring.
  4. Tap Smart Secure.
  5. Tap Manage on Smart Secure section.
  6. Tap on the schedule you want to delete.
  7. Tap on Delete at the bottom of the screen.

 


Deactivate/Reactivate Cameras in Smart Secure

  1. Open the myQ app.
  2. Access Account Menu:
    • If your app shows Menu in the bottom right corner, tap Menu.
    • If your app shows your Initials in the top left corner, tap your Initials
  3. Tap on myQ Video Monitoring.
  4. Tap Smart Secure.
  5. Tap Manage on Smart Secure section.
  6. Scroll to Cameras.
  7. Tap the toggle button for the camera you want to deactivate.   

Note: If all cameras are toggled off, Smart Secure will be disabled until at least one camera is reactivated.

 


 

Deactivate/Reactivate Garage Door Openers and Smart Locks in Smart Secure

  1. Open the myQ app.
  2. Access Account Menu:
    • If your app shows Menu in the bottom right corner, tap Menu.
    • If your app shows your Initials in the top left corner, tap your Initials
  3. Tap on myQ Video Monitoring.
  4. Tap Smart Secure.
  5. Tap Manage on Smart Secure section.
  6. Scroll to Devices.
  7. Tap the toggle button for the device you want to deactivate.

Note: If all eligible devices are toggled off, Smart Secure will be disabled until at least one device is reactivated.
