When the trolley over travels on the rail the trolley will hit the pin at the end of the rail and the inner trolley (rack) will get jammed on the pin. When this occurs you do not want to continue to operate the unit because the screw can strip out the rack. Below are the procedures that have to be taken to release the inner trolley (rack) from the pin.
First you will have to separate the rail from the motor head below are the steps on how to separate the rail.
Once you separate the rail from the motor head, turn the rail sprocket in the clockwise direction and, at the same time, you can jiggle the rack to release the rack from the pin. Once the rack gets released from pin continue to turn the rail sprocket until the rack is about 2-4 inches away from the pin. Once the rack is about 2-4 inches from the pin you can then reconnect the rail back to the motor head.
