Tesla | Link to myQ Connected Garage
Follow these steps to link your Tesla to myQ Connected Garage so you can control your garage door from your Tesla touchscreen.
Before you begin
Prior to linking, make sure you have an active myQ account with at least one active myQ device, and that you are signed in to the myQ app on your mobile device. If you don’t have the app yet, download it and sign in before proceeding:
- For Apple devices: myQ Garage & Access Control on the App Store
- For Android Devices: myQ Garage & Access Control on Google Play
On your Tesla center touchscreen, complete the following:
- Be sure your Tesla is parked safely.
- Tap the Vehicle Settings icon.
- Tap the garage door icon in the upper-right corner of your touchscreen.
- Select Link myQ Account from the pull-down menu.
- Use your mobile device to scan the QR code displayed on the screen.
- You’ll be redirected to the myQ Begin Trial page.
- Review the 30-day trial details.
- Tap Begin Trial.
- On the Trial Started page:
- Choose a plan to purchase now (you won’t be charged until the trial ends),
OR - Tap Purchase Later, then tap Finish to complete setup.
- Choose a plan to purchase now (you won’t be charged until the trial ends),
- Your Tesla is now linked to your myQ Connected Garage.
