How to Sync an Apple Watch to the myQ App

Learn how to sync your Apple Watch to the myQ app. This guide also provides troubleshooting steps if the pairing option is not appearing on your watch menu.

1. Update the myQ App: Ensure you have the latest version of the myQ app from the Apple App Store.

   • myQ for Apple iOS

2. Sign In: The Apple Watch should sync automatically once you sign in. If it doesn't, you’ll see a prompt on your watch asking you to open the myQ app and tap the plus (+) sign.

If Your Watch Doesn’t Sync Automatically 

1. Open the myQ app.

2. Access settings:

   • If your app has a Gear Icon in the top right corner, tap the Gear Icon.

   • If your app shows your Initials in the top left corner, tap your Initials. 

3. Look for Apple Watch at the bottom of the settings menu.

4. Make sure the Apple Watch is close to the iPhone.

5. You might need to tap the plus + sign button a few times.

6. Once the Apple Watch pops up in the myQ menu tap it and it will start to sync.

If Your Apple Watch Does Not Appear in the Settings Menu

If the Apple Watch option doesn’t show up:

1. Sign out of the myQ app.

2. Force close the app on your iPhone.

3. Uninstall the myQ app from the Apple Watch.

4. Reinstall the myQ app on the Apple Watch.

5. Open the app on your Apple Watch—you should see a sync message.

6. Open the myQ app on your iPhone and sign in again.

If syncing still doesn’t work, repeat the steps to sync from the Settings Menu.
