Can I use a LiftMaster® garage door opener on a residential high lift door?
All of our trolley operators are compatible with high lift doors, however in some applications an additional panel may need to be added to the top section of the door.
Aside from our standard trolley operators we also offer a residential jackshaft operator model 8500W. The 8500W is ideal for use on high lift doors with up to 54" of lift. For commercial use, our LJ8900W Light-Duty Commercial Jackshaft Operator is designed for light-duty, sectional doors.
Both the 8500W and LJ8900W mount on the wall, freeing ceiling space for maximum storage. You can also include the optional 12V Battery that allows you to operate your opener even if the power goes out.
