Amazon Key and myQ | In-Garage Delivery

Amazon Key In-Garage Delivery lets Amazon Prime members receive packages securely inside their garage using a myQ-connected smart garage door opener. This includes:

• Amazon Prime packages
• Amazon Fresh grocery deliveries
• Whole Foods Market grocery deliveries

How it Works

Amazon Key connects your myQ app to Amazon to allow in-garage delivery for Amazon Prime packages, Amazon Fresh grocery deliveries, and Whole Foods grocery deliveries. 

When you choose “In-Garage Delivery” at checkout, the delivery driver can open and close your garage to securely place packages inside. You’ll receive notifications throughout the process.

What Happens on Delivery Day:

1. You’ll get a 4-hour delivery window in the morning.
2. You’ll receive an “Arriving Now” notification when the driver is near.
3. Amazon verifies the driver’s location.
4. The driver scans the package and opens your garage.
5. If you have myQ Smart Garage Camera (or Amazon Cloud Cam), you can watch live.
6. The driver places the package just inside and requests to close the garage.
7. The garage door closes while the driver remains onsite.
8. You receive a final delivery confirmation.

Note: No access codes or keys are shared with the driver.

Requirements

To use Amazon Key for Garage, you’ll need:

• A myQ-connected Chamberlain or LiftMaster garage door opener
  • If your garage door opener is not Wi-Fi enabled, you can add a Smart Garage Hub or Smart Garage Control to add myQ connectivity. This works for non-Wi-Fi enabled Chamberlain and LiftMaster openers, and other brand garage door openers manufactured after 1993.
