How does the myQ® Community app work?
The myQ Community app is part of the myQ Smart Community access solution for apartment buildings and multifamily communities. The app provides residents with visual guest confirmation and access control - anytime, from anywhere.

Yes, the myQ Community app does integrate with the myQ Smart Access app. The myQ Community app is used by residents in apartment buildings and multifamily communities. The myQ Smart Access app allows you to easily open, close, or check the status of your garage door, commercial door, gate, or myQ home lighting from anywhere using a mobile device. The myQ Smart Access app supports myQ-enabled products from Chamberlain and LiftMaster. Currently, only garage door openers are able to be integrated with the myQ Community app. Commercial doors, gates, and other myQ Smart Access products must be managed within the myQ Smart Access app.
What type of mobile device do I need in order to use the app?
The myQ Community app is compatible with Android and Apple mobile devices.
