The myQ Outdoor Battery Camera includes a motion-activated spotlight to improve image clarity and motion detection at night. You can control this feature directly from the myQ app during live streaming and customize its behavior in the camera settings.
How to Use the Spotlight Feature During Live View
This feature is helpful if you want to illuminate the area without waiting for motion detection.
To manually turn the spotlight on or off:

Open the myQ app.

Tap on the Live Stream for your Outdoor Battery Camera.

Tap the Spotlight icon to toggle the light on or off.

How to Adjust the Spotlight Settings
To configure how the spotlight functions:

From Live Stream, tap the Settings icon,
or
Go to the Menu, select Device Management, then tap on the camera you want to manage. -
Tap on Video Settings.

Tap Spotlight.
Here you can customize:

Brightness – Adjust the light intensity.
- Automatic On/Off - Spotlight turns on when camera detects motion.
