Security+ 3.0 Remotes | Programming to TECHNA Barrier Gate Operator

Before You Begin

• Read all instructions thoroughly before starting.
• The gate will move during programming. Ensure the area is clear.⚠️ 
• The remote buttons are pre-set to Security+ 3.0 out of the box. You will use the following steps to get the remote into Programming Mode to pair with ALL compatible receivers/operators. 

Step 1: Put the Remote into Programming Mode

Follow the instructions based on your remote type:

• 1-Button Remote (CH361): Press and release the remote button 6 times within 4 seconds. The red LED will turn solid to confirm Programming Mode is active.
• 2-Button Remote (L932M, L992U, CHU62, CH382): Press and hold both buttons simultaneously until the LED turns solid (typically 6 seconds), then release the buttons.
• 3-Button Remote (CH363, L993M): Press and hold the two smaller buttons simultaneously until the red LED turns solid.

A solid LED means the remote is in Programming Mode.

• • MAX Remotes display a red LED.
  • Universal Remotes display a blue LED.

Step 2: Program to the TECHNA Operator

1. Go to the main control board on the TECHNA operator. Use the navigation buttons:
   • Green arrow = Enter
   • Up/Down arrows = Scroll
   • Red Stop button with stop symbol = Back out of menu

Press the green arrow to enter the menu.

2. Scroll to Transmitter Add and press the green arrow.
3. Select ALL FUNCTIONS for SBC (Single Button Control).
4. Select LEARN and press Enter.
5. On your remote, press the button you want to use:
   • MAX Remote: Press the button twice.
   • Universal Remote: Press the button three times.
6. The LCD will display SBC learned and the LED on your remote will flash intermittently.
7. Wait for the LCD to display Transmitter learned.
8. Exit the menu and return to the main screen.
9. As the operator begins to move and while the LED on the remote blinks intermittently, press the button on the remote ONCE.

Step 3: Verify Programming

1. Press the programmed remote button.
2. If successful, the gate will move.
3. If unsuccessful, repeat programming steps.
