Energy Conservation Feature | Security+ 2.0 Updates and 3.0 Availability

NOTICE
The Energy Conservation, Sleep Mode, or Low Power Mode feature was removed from all Security+ 2.0 garage door openers starting with production in February 2022. Products manufactured after this change are marked with an “MC” suffix on the product label and packaging.

Reinstated Models
This feature has been reinstated only for:
- 98022 openers running firmware version 3.3
- 98032 RJO models
Trolley 2.0 Openers
All trolley-style Security+ 2.0 openers remain without this feature.

All Security+ 3.0 openers, including trolley models and any future RJO units, include and will continue to include this feature.

Check the model number and firmware version.
Look for the “MC” suffix on the product label or packaging for units produced after February 2022.
