The History tab in the myQ app lets you track events across all devices linked to your account. You can view three categories:
Video – Recorded motion events from cameras
Access – Activity from your garage door, locks, lights, and schedules
Activity – Changes made within the myQ app
Below is a guide to help you navigate and manage each section.
This section shows recorded motion events from your myQ cameras.
Features:
View motion events by day or filter type.
Tap the three-line menu in the upper right to filter by device, events, faces, or date.
Share, download, favorite, or delete video clips.
Tip: Set filters to find specific recordings faster.
Note: Access to recorded video events requires an active myQ Video Storage Plan. Without it, the Video screen will direct you to available subscription options.
This section shows activity from your connected devices:
Garage Door Opener – Opened, Stopped, or Closed
Locks – Locked or Unlocked
Video Keypad – Used to access the garage door
Lights – Turned On or Off
Schedules – Activated
Tip: Use filters to view activity from specific devices.
This section shows account-level changes made in the myQ app, including:
You can refine what you see in both Video and Access using filters:
Tap Video or Access at the top of the History screen.
Tap the three-line menu in the upper right.
Select your filters:
Devices – Filter by specific cameras or devices
Events – Filter by activity types (garage door, Amazon Key, PIN, etc.)
Faces – Show clips where a face was detected
Date – Choose a specific day
Tap Save.
Tip: Video filter options are only available if you have an active myQ Video Storage Plan.
Tap the three-line menu in the upper right of the History screen.
Current filters will be highlighted in blue.
Tap Reset to remove them
To delete history events:
Tap the trash can icon
in the top right of the History screen.
Choose one of the following:
Delete all events – Confirm you want to permanently delete, and tap Delete.
Delete all events from a device – Select a device, confirm permanently delete, and tap Delete.
Note:
Deleted history cannot be recovered.
Deleting a device does not erase its history.
