How to Create a Yale | LiftMaster Smart Lock Door PIN Code
Below are steps for creating a PIN Code for Your Yale | LiftMaster Smart Lock.
- Open the myQ app.
- Access Account Menu:
- If your app shows Menu in the bottom right corner, tap Menu.
- If your app shows your Initials in the top left corner, tap your Initials.
- Tap Device Management.
- Under Locks, select the Lock you wish to manage. This will take you to Lock Settings.
- Tap PINs.
- Any PIN Codes previously created on the Lock will appear in the list. You may rename any existing PIN code(s).
- Tap the + sign in the top right corner.
- Enter the desired name for the PIN.
- Enter a 4-8 digit PIN.
- Enter the email address of the person for which you are creating a PIN. (Optional)
- Tap Save.
- If desired, you can send an email to the person for which you created the PIN. The email will include the 4-8 digit PIN you created.
