How to program my Wireless Motion Detecting System

Whether you are setting up the Wireless Motion Detecting System for the first time, or just adding an additional sensor, programming is easy. The maximum number of sensors you can program depends on the model of the Wireless Motion Alert.

• Wireless Motion Alert systems that use beige/tan sensors can program up to 8 Sensors.
• Wireless Motion Alert systems that use green sensors can program up to 4 Sensors.

To program a motion sensor

1. Place the base station and motion sensor in close proximity to each other.
2. Open the motion sensor by removing the four small screws.
3. Install 4 AA alkaline batteries (lithium batteries are recommended for colder environments).
4. Press and release the Learn Button on the base station. The base station will buzz.
5. If you are using a beige/tan sensor - press the Learn Button inside the motion sensor. If you are using a green sensor - wave your hand in front of the Motion Sensor. The LED light inside the sensor window will illuminate and the base station will buzz.
6. Test the sensor by waving your hand in front of the sensor window. The LED should illuminate and the base station should buzz.

If you need to clear and start over, press and hold the Learn Button on the base station until 3 beeps are heard. Note: ALL sensors will be cleared and will need to be reprogrammed.

When the motion sensor detects movement, the base station will emit a number of buzzes depending on the order the sensor was programmed in. The first sensor causes a single buzz, the second sensor causes two buzzes, the third sensor causes three buzzes, and so on.
