Compatibility of myQ Hubs with Gates and Commercial Door Operators

We do not support the linking of a myQ Garage (MYQ-G0201/821LM), Smart Garage Hub (MYQ-G0301-D/821LMB), or Smart Garage Control (MYQ-G0401-ESMC/821LMC-SMC) to any professional product line such as Commercial Door Operators or Gates.

The myQ Garage, Smart Garage Hub and Smart Garage Control are only supported and intended for consumer operators at this time and we cannot speak to any type of cross compatibility in the future.

Why is it not supported?

The myQ Garage, Smart Garage Hub and Smart Garage Control are made to convert non-myQ operators to myQ. For commercial product lines, if the operator is not myQ compatible we do not support converting it over to myQ.

If a commercial operator is already myQ compatible, the 828LMMC Internet Gateway can be used to connect to the myQ account. One can use the myQ Garage, Smart Garage Hub or Smart Garage Control to link an already myQ compatible commercial operator, but only the gateway is needed because the operator is already myQ compatible.
