Guest Pass

Why do I see an option to create a guest pass, but when I start creating one I do not see any entrances to share with my guest? 

Your property manager will have to authorize doors that can be shared with a guest in order for it to appear during pass creation. Please reach out to your property manager for help. 


When do I use each of the pass types? 

  • Delivery Pass: This pass works well for scheduling visitors that deliver packages, food, grocery, etc. This pass is valid for 10 days but will be revoked shortly after the first use. 
  • Temporary Pass: Temporary passes are typically for weekend guests or possibly a service provider who requires a continuous period of access to the property. 
  • Recurring Pass: This pass works great for visitors that provide recurring services who require weekly access, such as babysitters, dog walkers, service professionals, etc. 


Why am I not seeing amenity doors, like a gym and pool, to share with my guest? 

Guest passes are only allowed for entrances that are on a 24/7 schedule. If an amenity door's schedule is 9 AM-5 PM then that door will not be allowed to share with guests. 


Can I share the pass through the community app? 

Yes. Simply tap on Share Pass, which will prompt you to enter your guest's details. You have the option to email the pass or send it via SMS text message. 


Is there another way to share guest passes besides emails or text messages?  

if you want to share guest passes out of the community app, you have the ability to do so by selecting Send Pass and using the "Share via" option. This allows you to share using any 3rd party apps that are installed on your phone.

Why am I unable to create any more guest passes? 

Your property manager configures how many active passes app users can have.

  • Recurring Pass: This pass works great for visitors that provide recurring services that require weekly access such as babysitters, dog walkers, service professionals, etc.

What is a Get Shareable link?

If you want to share the guest pass outside of the community app then you can copy the link provided and use it in a third-party app such as a food delivery app. After copying the link, you can paste it into the instructions of the 3rd party app.

Why am I unable to create any more guest passes?

We are currently only allowing app users to have up to 15 active passes at any time.
