Error Description

Users will encounter Error Code 3-2 when the garage door opener has lost power.

How to Use myQ Diagnostics

The myQ Diagnostics feature provides real-time insights into your garage door system's performance. If there is ever an issue, you can send a health report to your dealer directly in the app for faster troubleshooting and support.

 


How to Link to a Dealer

To use the diagnostics feature, enable the My Dealer section in the myQ app. Your Wi-Fi-enabled Garage Door Opener will need to be linked to a dealer.

  1. Open the myQ app.
  2. Access Account Menu:
    • If your app shows Menu in the bottom right corner, tap Menu.
    • If your app shows your Initials in the top left corner, tap your Initials
  3. Scroll down and Tap My Dealer.
  4. Tap Add a New Dealer.
  5. Enter in your zip code to find a nearby dealer.
  6. Select a dealer from the list.
  7. Tap Save My Dealer.

 


How to Access and Share Health Reports

You can access a Health Report at any time in the myQ app. This report helps you and your dealer understand the health of your garage door opener. If you need at-home support, you can send the Health Report to a dealer. 

  1. Open the myQ app.
  2. Access settings:
    • If your app has a Gear Icon in the top right corner, tap the Gear Icon.
    • If your app shows the 3 dots on the top right corner of your device, tap the dots. 
  3. Under HUBS tap your garage door opener to view Device Settings. 
  4. Tap myQ Diagnostics to view your device's health report. 
  5. Tap Connect with a dealer to send your report to a dealer and request service.

How to View myQ Diagnostics While an Error is Present

  1. Tap the Error - Learn More message for the garage door
  2. Tap Let's Help You Fix the Issue
  3. Review the information and ensure your contact information is up to date
  4. Tap Share Health Report
  5. Review the Dealer information and contact your Dealer to schedule your appointment
  6. Tap Finish

  1. Open the myQ app.
  2. Access Account Menu:
    • If your app shows Menu in the bottom
