How to find the MAC address for the Internet Gateway
To determine the MAC address of the Internet Gateway, you will need to access your router's administration page and "Attached Devices" list. If you are unsure of how to access the router's administration page, contact the router manufacturer.
- With the Internet Gateway disconnected, locate the "Attached Device" list and write down each MAC address.
- Connect the Internet Gateway and refresh the "Attached Device" list. The added or new device in the list is the Internet Gateway

The Internet Gateways MAC address should be in the format 64:52:99:XX:XX:XX.

MAC address filtering for wired devices is usually not needed for home networks.
