Link Your Mercedes-Benz to myQ Connected Garage

Link your Mercedes-Benz to your myQ account to enable integrated garage access controls. See below for instructions on how to link using the MBUX Voice Assistant or by using the Mercedes me connect app. 
 

Tips for Getting Started

• Use the myQ Compatibility Tool to determine if your garage door opener is myQ compatible.
• If you are new to myQ, download the myQ mobile app onto your mobile device, create an account, and sign in.
• Connect your myQ-connected garage door devices via myQ mobile app using the onscreen setup tutorial and ensure they are controllable via myQ mobile app prior to linking.
• Be sure your vehicle is parked safely either inside or outside of your garage prior to beginning.
• Ensure there are no garage door obstructions.
•  You will need to have a Mercedes me connect profile created, and linked to your vehicle to activate this service.

Note:  Mercedes-Benz voice control can be activated via steering wheel controls or by saying ‘Hey Mercedes’.
 

Link Your Mercedes-Benz to myQ Connected Garage with MBUX Voice Assistant

1. Power on your vehicle in the parked position.
2. Say “Hey Mercedes, I want to connect my myQ Connected Garage account.”
   • The Vehicle will respond with “Okay, I’ve just sent through a QR code notification. To see it, just swipe down from the top of your screen and tap the notification. You can then simply scan the QR code with your phone and connect to your myQ Connected Garage account.”
3. Scan the QR Code using your mobile device.
   • This will take you to a Mercedes-Benz + myQ Connected Garage webpage.
4. On your mobile device, tap Sign In if you are an existing myQ User.
   • If you are a new myQ user, download the myQ mobile app onto your mobile device, create an account, and start over with step 1
5. Review ‘Consent’ and tap Accept.
6. Your vehicle is now linked to your myQ garage door devices.

Troubleshooting Tips for Connecting with MBUX Voice Assistant

Q. The voice command is not picking up my entire command or timing out.

A. After saying ‘Hey Mercedes’, there will be a tone indicating listening mode. Be sure to speak your command quickly after this tone to avoid timeout.
 

Link your Mercedes-Benz to myQ Connected Garage with Mercedes me connect App

1. Launch your Mercedes ME app.
2. Tap the settings menu in the top left corner.
3. Tap your linked Mercedes-Benz vehicle. 
4. Tap Manage Services.
5. Tap Comfort.
6. Tap MBUX Voice Assistant.
7. Tap Linked Accounts. 
8. Tap myQ Connected Garage.
9. Tap Pair.
10. Enter your myQ email and password or use the appropriate sign-in option. 
11. Tap Authorize.
12. Tap Next on the "Account Successfully Paired" screen to complete the linking process.
